由於疫情的蔓延，造成社會動盪，人心惶惶不安，身為佛教徒的我們能做什麼呢？我們能團結信仰的力量，以便為人間注入更多善的正能量，幫助世間安定下來。所以，希望把今年2021年訂為「北美佛光修持年」，佛光人全體總動員一起來修持，為安定人心及世界祥和而努力。
